I decided to combine the Teaser Tuesday, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading, with the First Chapter ~ First Paragraph Tuesday Intros, hosted by Bibliophile By the Sea.
Paragraph and Teaser from Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent. Book #6 of her Soul Screamer-series.
First paragraph:
I was a virgin sacrifice. And yeay, it’s just as creepy as it sounds. I died on a Thursday, at twenty-seven minutes after midnight, killed by a monster intent on stealing my soul. The good news? He didn’t get it. The bad news? Turns out not even death will get you out of high school…

Try the first omnibus, it costs as much as the first book but you get the first and second book plus the prequel in one 🙂
