You should give The Infernal Devices series a second chance. I wasn’t thrilled with the first book either, but the second and third books are really good! Also, I LOVED Snow Like Ashes and would not be a proper fangirl if I didn’t at least try to convince you to read it. So—I think you should give it a try. There, I’ve done my duty 😉
