Ten Authors I’ve Read The Most Books From

I’ve decided to take the “Top” out of the title so now it’s only “Ten Authors”. I wanted to include some authors I stopped reading as well. So here we go.

#1: Cynthia Eden: 39 books(!!!!)

Wow, I’ve just counted them and I’ve really read so many books by her. Oo I’m kind of shocked right now and I haven’t even read all her series completely. I’m still missing like 12-15 books.

By the way I wrote a lot of reviews for her books in the time I’ve been blogging. If you are interested in reading one of those, just typ Cynthia Eden into the search bar.

#2: Nalini Singh: 24 books

I only counted her full novels, no novellas 😉 the number would be a lot higher then. I really like Miss Singh’s paranormal series, but I’m not really a fan of her contemporary series. I’ve read the first one of it and I think I dnf-ed it :(. In Germany we have this saying: Schuster bleib bei deinen Leisten. In english it is something like this “A cobble should stick to his last.” I really think she should stick to the paranormal romance genre.

#3: Jennifer L. Armentrout (16) / J.Lynn (4): 20 books

Can you believe I’ve almost forgotten her on my list! Bad me! Bad, bad me! I love her Lux, Covenant and Dark Elements series and please don’t make me pick between one of them. Her New Adult stuff that she writes under her pseudonym are nice as well.

#4: Jeaniene Frost: 12 books

So sad her Night Huntress series is over, but I’m eagerly awaiting her last Night Prince book. Also I’ve read somewhere that Ian will finally get his own book/spin-off(?). YAY!

#5: Ilona Andrews: 11 books

I’m massive behind on her Kate Daniels series! I apologize. I’m working on it 😉 I loved Burn For Me and I still need to read the last book in the The Edge series.

#6: Lara Adrian: 11 books

I liked her Midnight Breed series up to the point where she started writing her second story arc. After that I quit.

#7: Rhyannon Byrd: 11 books

I really like her Bloodrunner series and I’ve read some of her Primal Instinct books.

#8: JR Ward: 10 books

I actually stopped reading her books a while back, because I wasn’t invested in them anyone.

#9: Rachel Vincent: 9 books

I loved her Soul Screamer series, read the first of her Unbound series (which wasn’t for me) and I kind of liked The Stars Never Rise.

#10: Jennifer Estep: 8 books

I read a good part of her Elemental Assassins series, but I binged on them and that was a mistake, since they are really repetitive. So I stopped. I’m currently in the slow process of listening to her Mythos Academy series and I still need to read Cold Burn Of Magic :/

Synopsis:

Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

TT #37 / FTPI #25

I decided to combine the Teaser Tuesday, hosted by MizB from A Daily Rhythm, with the First Chapter ~ First Paragraph Tuesday Intros, hosted by Bibliophile By the Sea.

Today I decided to feature Frigid by J.Lynn AKA Jennifer L. Armentrout

Opening:

Sydney

I was in love with my best friend.
And it could be worse, I guessed. I could have been in love with a male stripper or a drug addict. Kyler Quinn was neither of those things. Although he could easily be passed off as a male stripper with those jaw-dropping good looks and messy brown hair, and he was as addictive as any drug out there.

Teaser from 5%

“Parents divorced a few years back, so I go between houses.”
I hadn’t known that. “Sorry to hear that.”

Bout Of Books Read-A-Thon Challenge 6

Day #6: Challenge by Once Upon A Chapter

Favourite Read Photo Challenge

This challenge was quite easy. I just have to share a picture of the book I’ve enjoyed the most in the Read-A-Thon. Surprisingly it was Wait For You by J.Lynn (aka Jennifer L. Armentrout). Why it was a surprise for me? Well, I’m normally not a fan of New Adult books, but I quite enjoyed this one.
